Join us and take part in this incredible learning environment! Break free from the day to day life in the city and give yourself a life changing experience. We would be delighted to hear from you.
Learnership Volunteers assist with daily chores and special projects while learning and developing valuable Permaculture and Regenerative Agriculture skills. If you are selected to participate in our Learnership program, you will be expected to volunteer around 30 hours a week according to our working schedule. There will be one day off a week. You will be offered a workshop afternoon each week, participate in the community listening circle and have time each day to ask questions and study from books and video's in our library.
Depending upon your skill level, you may be assigned a special project to focus on during your stay here.
You will be able to enjoy the beautiful tranquility of the landscape, swim in the natural pond, take a walk in the forest or spend time with other volunteers and participants outside of working hours. Be aware that this learning experience will not only give you tools to start your own project, but it will also be a personal transformation through living in community and reconnecting with nature.
Accommodation is in a spacious and cosy dormitory and you are asked to share in the cleaning and keeping the buildings tidy. Now and again you will also be asked to share your cooking skills by helping in the kitchen to prepare the meals with love, which are catered for both vegetarians and omnivores. We try to use as much home grown organic produce as possible, as well as home grown grass fed meats and free ranging chickens and eggs.
Please bring your own ecological (!) soaps and toothpaste, along with a towel and sleeping bag. We also recommend you bring your own camera, laptop, notebook or other device to log your experiences and learnings. We have bicycles on site to get around.
Our Learnership program is popular and because of this, we do have a formal application process. After we have received your application form, we will contact you within a few days. Additionally, please know that we can only accommodate participants able to commit a minimum of 2 weeks to the program. With visits up to 2 months. Longer stays are arranged on a case-by-case basis. You must be 18 years or older to be considered for this program.
One last thing, It is important to know that you are responsible for and must supply proof of medical insurance coverage in the event of any accident or injury. If you don't have insurance yet, I would recommend oveuropa.com who have a cheap package for 35 euro's a year.
