Grow your Organic Production Garden Weekend Course

What is the course about?

This week end course invites you to learn how to grow healthy food through sustainable practices. You will be introduced to market garden strategy and be given concrete tools regarding permaculture design and regenerative practices. This course wants to give you the bases to create an abundant productive and sustainable garden.

Course details

Over the 14 hours program of this course, Pierre the market gardener of A Quinta will teach you how to:

  • Design a garden

  • Create the beds

  • Set up irrigation system

  • Maintain a nursery

  • Make compost

  • Make fertilizers

  • Harvest, process, storage & selling

  • Organize the work


We will also create space to share with you our experience about the different developments of the activities in the farm and respond to all the questions you may come with.

Food and Accommodation

The land of the farm has a lot to offer: amazing landscapes, wild walk in the forest, swim in the lakes. You can chose between staying in a your own tent or campers, or a bed in a dormitory.

The food is cooked by our creative chefs with the fresh produces of the garden, the menu will be vegetarian and come with nourishing buffets for breakfast and lunch and soup with toast for dinner.

Price and deposit

The price of the course all included is 200 euros, we require a deposit of 50 euros to be sent at least a week before the start of the course to save your spot.

For locals who would not need to sleep on site, the price of the course is 170 euros.

The course includes

  • 14hrs of class

  • 6 meals: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners.

  • Stay in the camping, an additional cost of 20 euros is required for the stay in the dormitory

  • Access to all our facilities: lakes, swings, waterfall, forest, common hall, yoga deck…
