Community Events at A Quinta
Life at A Quinta naturally brings people together — to share, create, and celebrate.
Each week, our community opens its doors for simple gatherings that nurture connection and joy. Join us in whatever way feels right — come to share a meal, a thought, or just your presence.
New events are added regularly, so check this page often to see what’s coming next.
Garden to Table - Learn Gardening with Daniel
Every Saturday from 8 November, join Daniel in the gardens of A Quinta for a hands-on learning experience rooted in sustainability and connection with the land.
Every Saturday from 8 November, join Daniel in the gardens of A Quinta for a hands-on learning experience in dry gardening, soil science, and sustainable food production. Together, we’ll explore how to grow healthy food in harmony with nature.
After working in the garden, we gather to cook and share lunch, transforming fresh ingredients into a nourishing meal.
If the weather doesn’t allow outdoor work, we move indoors for an inspiring session on regenerative farming practices — still ending around the table with a shared meal.
Contribution: 15€ for lunch (free for A Quinta volunteers)
Council with Rob
Every Sunday we gather in a sharing circle, guided by Rob every second week, a council trainer with deep experience in group facilitation.
An ancient and modern practice handed down from First Nation Peoples, Earth-cherishing traditions and others along the way to hold space for truth and connection, this circle invites us to slow down, listen, and speak from the heart.
Through presence and openness, we explore what it means to build trust and understanding within a group. Rob holds the space with care and professionalism, creating an atmosphere where every voice matters and where shared awareness naturally arises.
All are welcome — whether you come to share or simply to listen. No registration required, simply join us on time.
Sunday afternoon at 17h
Dance of Inanna: Movement of Venus
Every Saturday at 17:00 you are invited to enter a sacred space of awakening and self-discovery, inspired by the ancient feminine dances of Asia Minor and the celestial cycles of Venus.
Through a combination of structured awareness and free flow, we will explore the body as a vessel of transformation and renewal. The workshop unfolds through:
Awakening the body
Flowing sequences
Intuitive dance and improvisation
Collective ritual movement
This journey honors the feminine principle of movement—fluid, receptive, and radiant. It invites each woman to rediscover her own rhythm, to express without restraint, and to remember the ancient bond between body, planet, and star.
Through dance, we return to Inanna’s light—the brilliance of Venus in the morning sky—and to the Sun, eternal source of energy, illumination, and life.
Saturday afternoon at 17h

Friday Pizza Night
Every Friday evening, the wood oven comes to life at A Quinta.
We prepare fresh, homemade pizzas using seasonal ingredients from our gardens and local farmers. It’s more than just a meal — it’s a warm community gathering where visitors, friends, and neighbors share food, laughter, and stories under the Alentejo night sky.
Friday evening 19h
Vegan and gluten-free pizzas are also available with advance registration, so everyone can enjoy this weekly tradition.
